People are at the heart of LWWF. Lisa always left a piece of herself behind, either through her words or actions. For this reason, people who work with the LWWF are inspired to follow her model. LWWF’s leadership team and board are committed to serving the foundation’s mission and programs.

Jandolyn E. Washington
Chair and Chief Executive Office

 

Jandolyn Washington is the daughter of Isaac and Lisa Washington.  Jandolyn is the founder of LWWF, turning the tragic and untimely death of her mother into philanthropy and serving youth. 

 

Ms. Washington is a honor student who currently attends Spelman College, majoring in Spanish.  Post graduate, Jandolyn will be attending medical school at The University of Rochester (2022).

 

Jandolyn has a passion for service to others like her parents. She also enjoys traveling, dancing, playing the piano and tennis.

Isaac T. Washington
President

 

Isaac Washington was married to Lisa Woods Washington for 19 years.  The two maintained a 26 year loving relationship that started in high school.

 

Mr. Washington is a banking executive, who has a diverse background in both credit and originations. Isaac is heavily entrenched in civic causes that serve to improve and enrich the lives of children and young adults. Mr. Washington serves on the boards of The Howard School, Covenant House of Georgia, while also working with the youth ministry at Providence Missionary Baptist Church.  Isaac is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and holds business degrees from both Auburn and Clark Atlanta Universities.

Jamilah Washington

Executive Director

​

Jamilah Washington is a successful entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the hair and beauty, and real estate industries.  Jamilah is devout advocate for children causes, serving as the Executive Director of LWWF.  In her spare time, Jamilah volunteers in the Nursery at Providence Missionary Baptist Church.  At the age of 32, Jamilah became a widow, after unexpectedly losing her husband Thomas Long.  Subsequently, five years later, Jamilah married Isaac Washington, who also unexpectedly lost his wife, Lisa Wood Washington.  Having unfortunately sharing the tragic loss of a spouse, LWWF is something that is very personal and passionate to Jamilah.  As Executive Director of LWWF, Jamilah’s leadership has led to youth initiatives that include Free Afterschool Tutoring Programs, Free Tennis Clinics, and Scholarship Awards.   

Myi Ori Long

Secretary and Chair of the Education Committee

Myi Ori Long is a honor student attending Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, majoring in Health and Science.

 

Ms. Long, who also experienced the tragic and untimely death of her father at the age of 8, has brings an invaluable passion, commitment and apathy in her service to youth who have not only experienced loss, the absence of a parent, but  also to those who encounters challenges.  This has been evident in the many programs and fundraising efforts she initiated for LWWF.

 

Myi is an avid reader who has an insatiable appetite to travel.

Meredith Chase

Treasurer

Meredith Chase serves as Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations at The Howard School.  Meredith has an extensive background in managing the financial affairs for non-profits.  Meredith is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Accounting.
